This is very sad; I would advice anyone who needs free help and support to contact the Minor Tranquilliser Project ---> More details here.

Now NHS funded it provides support, free counselling, advocacy and much more.

The Minor Tranquilliser Project is in Camden and run by MIND in Camden.

This is only for people in that area, so apart from Pam Armstrong's initiative in Liverpool and the Oldham projects, I do not know of any other dedicated withdrawal support for prescribed or over the counter medicines.

I suggest people should contact the local PCT and ask for this service to be provided.
